After the very intense New moon of the 29^th of November, December begins on a more positive note as Mars and Jupiter make an auspicious trine. It’s a week to shoot for the stars. Jupiter generates success and Mars gives enough drive to break through any obstacles.

Things become more serious when Mercury enters Capricorn of the 2nd of December. It’s time to focus on final outcomes and bottom lines.

Venus enters Aquarius on the 7th and takes us to places others wouldn’t see as normal. Some cloudy weather up ahead on the 10th as the Sun and Saturn joins forces casting a dark shadow on the optimistic sunniness of Sun in Sagittarius. It shouldn’t last too long but don’t make any major waves until the dust settles.

On the 12th December, the Sun makes its second trine to Uranus. Uranus is always full of surprises and can usually shake things up somewhat. A trine is usually positive and Uranus's effects shouldn’t be that hectic as it is still retrograde.

The last full moon of the year will happen on the 13th. It will be in Gemini and it will be a Supermoon. It is expected to be bigger and brighter than usual. Full moons bring endings, so let’s use the opportunity to put everything negative that has happened through the year, behind us.

Mars will enter Pisces on December 19th and Mercury will turn retrograde for the 4th and last time this year. Mars in Pisces cloaks its aggressive firepower by either drowning or letting off steam. Mars has hidden agendas in Pisces and can make it difficult to move forward in a normal sense. There could be some breakthroughs in the realms of healing.

Mercury going retrograde from now, is perfect for taking timeout until the years end to map out your plans for 2017.

The Sun arrives in Capricorn on the 21st bringing a change of energies, known as the Solstice.

Saturn and Uranus will meet up in a fire trine on Christmas eve which opens the door to break free from the past and changes some rules.

The planets bestow us with gifts of peace, love and blessings as the 3rd and best trine between Venus and Jupiter happens on Christmas day.

Jupiter and Uranus have a standoff on the 26th and while it can signify that uncertainty and change are on the rise, it also signals that things should turn out well in the end. The New moon will be in Capricorn on the 29th and there will be a conjunction between the Sun and still retrograde Mercury. A reminder to take stock and see what you will be taking into 2017.

Uranus turns directs after being retrograde for the past 5 months so there may be unexpected events and hopefully pleasant surprises. it can however, awaken repressed urges and bring about unsettling events.

The last aspect for 2016 on the 31st December is a conjunction between Mars and Neptune. This watery blend can manifest in an urge to drown this year’s sorrows in liquid refreshments on New Yeas Eve celebrations. Take it easy and don’t drink and drive.
