The month starts of with a mixed medley of influences. Lovely Venus and Lucky Jupiter meet up in a harmonious love bubble aspect but Saturn comes along with his wet blanket to square both planets. Mercury trines Uranus and this can bring some brilliant ideas at the beginning of the month. If you feel slightly off kilter over the next few days, it’s probably because Saturn is preparing to go direct. Yep, always Saturn right there handing you a reality check.

On the 6^th Mars trines Saturn, the place where the brave and the bold meet the serious and responsible - at its best. Even though Mars in Cancer can make your energy levels feel somewhat low your strength and endurance in Saturn can be really high. Whatever Saturn messed up recently, he now finds a way to make up for it.

Mercury moves to Virgo on the 7^th, a happy place to be in and over the next month you’re able to focus on all the details and solve problems.  Jupiter joins the home of Virgo on the 11^th where he inspects things with a magnifying glass. Health will become an important factor and you’ll look for ways to keep fit and healthy. Perfection is the ideal goal in Virgo. Pets will also play a bigger role for the month ahead. There’s a new moon rising on the 14^th in Leo and on the 15^th Venus, who is currently retrograde, meets up with the Leo Sun taking us back in time to resolve past issues. Events around this could be unpredictable.

On the 21^st the Sun gets into one last stubborn square-off with Saturn which either causes setbacks and delays or you realise steady accomplishment is the way to go. From one extreme to another, the Sun enters Virgo on the 23^rd where it meets up with optimistic Jupiter on the 27^th. Find ways to catch some of this luck, it’ll only be around for a few days. This is probably one of the best days during August to make things happen.

Mercury enters Libra on the 27^th which will be extended from four to ten weeks because of its retrograde in September. Libra has the charm and skill at seeing both sides of an issue and combined with Mercury this will be a good time for all types of negotiations or legal disputes.

A Pisces Full moon lights up the sky on the 29^th. Can be quite an emotional time with misunderstandings clouding the air hampering your view so that you can’t see the wood for the trees.
