Do Tarot Cards predict the future? Decide for yourself.

When I first saw this picture at the end of 2016, I looked at it and thought... “that looks hectic, I hope it doesn’t have any truth to it!” It showed, or should I say predicted, disaster that would affect the entire world. I thought, no, that can’t be!

At the time, I hoped it was just a really creative artist creating his interpretation of a few tarot cards. Now, here we are three years later and with what is going on in the world, I wanted to take a closer look at that cover. I have been unable to ascertain who the artist was that created the image, but whoever it was it appears he knew the plan down to a T.

With this article I will highlight only some of what I see in this spread, but I urge you to look closer as well and to make up your own minds about what is symbolically predicted in each of these images. They say with many of the great or terrible events in history mankind was often warned far in advance through depictions in art, theatre or even in fictional books. So … let’s get right into it.

The spread starts with “The Tower” Card. It depicts a falling Tower marked with the Christian cross and a notice nailed into the door. It shows a bolt of lightning out of nowhere that crumbles the tower. A lightning bolt can either bring damage or it can symbolise sudden illumination and destruction of ignorance. On the left is the old Soviet / Communist flag with people protesting and to the right it looks like a group protesting for their religion. They are at opposite ends … both groups are marching towards the tower. Maybe this is symbolic of the end of religion or the way in which religion is practiced, moral values and at the same time a fight against possible communism or communists taking over? Also, take particular note of the large V hidden in the top of the cracked tower. Is this symbolic for V for Vendetta? V is the 22nd letter and it appears as if 22 is quite prominent throughout this spread. Also notice the "crown-like" fire spewing out and the dark clouds above, in what appears to be an otherwise cloudless blue sky, perhaps an explosion of some sort. This was definitely unexpected and brought about from this strike, with the tower now bellowing out black smoke contaminating the air that we breathe?

Next in line is the “Judgement” Card. The 20th century is ruled by the Judgement Card, 2020 is Judgement by two, but together it makes 22 or 4, depending on how you look at it. 4 is the number of Law and Order and interesting to note Trump tweets about this often. The Judgement card is all about bringing about change, depicting the end of one thing and the start of another. In a way, it also relates to Judgement day. Donald Trump sits on the globe almost like a throne with the American flag draped around it and appearing as a ruler of the world with his staff or orb in hand. He seems to have something to do with the major changes represented in this spread.

The third card is “The World”. Above, the Sun shines connecting everything to one another. The Sun is also connected with Corona, or maybe this is symbolic of 5G connecting everyone together. Will all knowledge come from one source? Is this depicting mind manipulation of some sort? Is this all connected to one place or predetermined narrative of what people should believe, think, say and do? As in this image ... remember everything is connected, there is no coincidence.

Then we find “The Hermit” being the 9th card in the Tarot. We now have 20, which is the same energy as 11 and 9 in this spread. The Hermit being the 9th card could also point us to events in September. Has this foretold an event similar to that of 9/11? The Hermit appears to be guiding the yellow zombie-like people down below, whilst a cracked world lays tossed aside. The crack appears strangely between Europe and Asia. Where are they heading ... or where are they fleeing? It’s noteworthy to see how he stands at the top of the cliff looking upon the crescent moon with what appears to be the pyramids in the top left, leading all the people / protesters down the valley and cliff. The red robe the Hermit is wearing also seems ominously similar to that often worn by Pope Francis during celebrations of Jesus' sacrifice and to symbolize the blood spilled by martyrs. 

So far it can be seen that each of these are really powerful cards when you interpret them on their own, but the almost deliberate symbolism hidden within each of the individual cards are also very telling.

On the “Death” Card you will notice a big red rising sun in the background of what can only be described as catastrophe in the front. Is this depicting the rise of the Red Dragon perhaps?! In some cultures the red sun is synonymous with power but also with slaughter and death. Notice also the explosion in the background, mushrooming up above again poisoning the air, maybe foretelling of a nuclear threat or climate change heading us towards complete natural disaster? The land is barren and the rivers are dry with a last remaining fish struggling to breath in the small puddle that’s left. My guess is that we can expect some major earth events like volcanoes, hurricanes, flooding and droughts which may take even more people’s lives than the Coronavirus itself. In the left corner above one would see what appears to be mosquitos making one think of a plague of pests. Will they have anything to do with the disaster, drought and death down below? The Grim Reaper rides his white horse of death, taking the lives of people and it appears he might have some names carried on a list. As a point of interest the Horse is the enemy of the Rat in Chinese Astrology, and 2020 is Rat year.

Now let’s have a look at “The Magician”. The Magician usually has all the tools to create whatever he wants but in this card it is almost too simple and controlled from somewhere else and depicting very little going on around him. In this card the Magician has a Virtual Reality headset on, clearly plugged in to something else controlling what he sees. Whilst in his trance he blindly pushes a button and out comes his creation. It clearly looks like some kind of mind control through artificial intelligence. Again, as with the Hermit, the Magician wears a destinct red robe. Now if one has to combine what we see here with all of the other cards, it almost looks like a reset button...financial reset which after having seen the destruction of the Tower could be a possible global financial crash? But look closely at what he creates … it’s all of the same. Perfectly boxed and parcelled houses. Uniqueness, individuality and creativity lost. 

Next we move to the “Wheel of Fortune” card. In this card it depicts two woman and a man, which are all prominent politicians of France, Germany and the Netherlands as illustrated by the respective flags next to each of them. They are tied up and bound, can’t move and regardless of their positions can’t really change anything. There are voting boxes below. Clearly, this is around the time of voting taking place somewhere. In this case, it reminds us of the upcoming elections around America with Donald Trump pictured on the second card. Also notice the cloud and thunder on the one side and the sun shining on the other side.

In the last card, "The Star", you will see people’s faces depicted in them... maybe symbolising us going to the stars? That also looks very much like either the red planet “Mars” or a blood moon depicted at the bottom. It appears that going to the moon and other planets have been in the news a lot lately with it almost having become a competition between nations of who will get there first, with some believing that is the only hope for our future survival. There is also a clear asteroid or shooting star in the middle. This too has been in the news a lot, with asteroids passing very closely to us quite often. Sadly, does this mean there is no hope at all? Will we completely destroy our earth or is there someone that knows something we don’t? Is it our only hope to survive the catastrophe brought on by ourselves and think our survival lies elsewhere? In each of the stars is a picture of people. The pictures are however all of children and young people. Could this also be illuminating and bringing awareness to all the children that have gone missing?

Without these particular symbolic images as depicted on the cards above, and just interpreting the meaning of the usual cards themselves, it still shows radical change and circumstances which lie ahead that will affect the entire world. It will take quite some time and it will bring much destruction and death. But remember ... after every dark night there comes a dawn. The positive side it that the wheel of fortune could change things for the better and the Star will bring hope for those that survive. The negative side is that everything might change for the worst and we become like the people in the stars, controlled by the Magician … all of the same.

This picture was in the Economist at the end of 2016. Trump seems to be the one creating or in charge of whatever change is coming. I’ve not mentioned all of what I have seen in these cards and leave the rest up to you.

Richard Nixon was right when he wrote in 1967 that ‘the world cannot be safe until China changes.’ Now it’s up to us to heed his words.

Today the danger is clear. And today the awakening is happening.

Today the free world must respond. We can never go back to the past.
