April 2015
The month kicks off with a Lunar Eclipse on the 4th at 14 degrees Libra. The Lunar Eclipse will oppose Uranus and square Pluto thereby activating the energy of the Uranus Pluto square. The Lunar Eclipse is like an amped up Full moon, usually a time when emotions are heightened, situations are intensified, and even more so because of the square to Pluto. Pluto intensifies and Uranus disrupts. This particular eclipse can shine more light on whatever aspect in your life has been affected by the square between the heavyweights Uranus and Pluto.
A lot of energy is supplied with this full moon, helping you to change and fix - whichever way you decide to take things.
Mercury will be conjunct the south node and this is about letting go of thought patterns that no longer serve you. You could feel as if you’re running around in circles. The sextile to Jupiter shows there are opportunities for expansion and a renewed sense of faith.
Libra is all about balance, so the Eclipse in this area is aimed at bringing balance back into the picture.
Jupiter stations to go Direct on the 8th bringing all the goodness from the sextile to the Eclipse your way, along with opportunities that will open up in front of you.
Venus moves into Gemini on the 11th April and becomes a social butterfly. Variety is the spice of life, lots of socialising, catching up on gossip. You’re able to connect with people on a mental level, very light hearted, no place for heavy stuff. It will be an excellent time for making new connections. Everything that sparkles grabs your attention.
Mercury moves into Taurus on the 14th. So Venus will be in Mercury’s home sign, Gemini and Mercury will be in Venus's home sign of Taurus. They will both feel like a welcomes guest and look to each other for help. We have the best of both during April. Mercury in Taurus will take things a lot slower and think them over more carefully. Fortunately, Venus should keep you going with all the new mental activity, so in a way, they are balancing each other out.
Mars will be square to Jupiter. Mars is energy and motivation and Jupiter is opportunity and expansion. You could feel a major boost of optimism and you'll be feeling on top of the world. As good as this aspect is, you have to be careful not to get in over the top of your head. There's a tendency to take on too much - so just watch this.
There is a New Moon in Aries at the same time. This is an excellent time for planting seeds , again, just make sure that you can cope with what you are planting. Aries is famous for starting everything and not following it through, and with Aries ruler, Mars square to Jupiter, this is going to be a "go large" period.
The sun will move into Taurus bringing about a more grounded sense of reality. Look at your chart to where the Sun is transiting. This is where you need to pay some attention and tend to matters relating to that specific house.
Mars will trine Pluto which could add some force to matters. Others may try force their views onto you, with Jupiter still kind of square to Mars it could even be religious related matters. On a positive note, it can supply a major dose of determination with plans that you have. Mars is what’s being energised and empowered by both Pluto and Jupiter. With so many planets in earth signs, well have lots of endurance and stamina to see us through April and to get on and complete our projects.
