The month of April starts off quite bumpy. We will feel totally inspired as the Sun trines Saturn on the 5th but then Venus leaves the calm realm of Pisces and enters feisty Aries which gives love and finances a whole new direction. It becomes a “me first” energy. If you’re always the giver, this can be a good thing for you because you could find yourself not putting up with anyone taking advantage of you. On the same day, Mercury moves into s-l-o-w Taurus. Communication becomes considered rather than diving in mouth first but you might as well get used to this as Mercury goes retrograde the end of April and will spend the next 9 weeks in Taurus, until the middle of June.
Past conflicts can be brought to the surface as Sun makes a square to Pluto around the 6th. The tide should change with the arrival of the New Moon in Aries which carries potent energy for beginning any kind of project over the next two weeks.
On the 9th Sun and Uranus meet in a fire trine bringing about unpredictable events. There’s a positive window of opportunity, keep your eyes open and take advantage.
Mars triggers up some action as he makes a short fire trine to Venus lighting up activities regarding love and money, but he becomes a party pooper when he goes retrograde on the 17th, depleting us of our energy supply. By the way, this is not a great time to have surgery or to begin any lawsuits. Whoever initiates lose at whatever is initiated. Yes, that includes relationships.
Pluto goes retrograde on the 18th right through to September 26th 2016. An excellent time to seek some form of regenerative activity. Spend time soul searching because Pluto retrograde imparts an intense power for investigation.
On the 19th the Sun says goodbye to Aries and hello to a more grounded Taurus. The Sun’s first meetup is with the Moon in Scorpio bringing the Full Moon on the 22nd. There’s action galore as Venus and Uranus team up on the same day causing hot and explosive events. Keep a firm grip on your heart and your wallet.
Hopefully you have got a whole bunch of things done before Mercury goes retrograde on the 28th, signalling a time out period. Back up all your files and get ready for a communications slowdown. You’ll have a whole bunch of time to re-do, re-evaluate and re-look at what’s been happening. Venus starts singing when she leaves Aries and enters Taurus. This combo has a stabilising and harmonious influence on love and money, but what belongs to Venus becomes very protected, so be on the lookout for possessive behaviours.
