Taurus (April 21 to May 21)

Taurus, the second Sign of the Zodiac, is all about what they have.  Taurus adores comfort and likes being surrounded by pleasing, soothing things. That would include a good meal and a fine wine.  They can be bull-headed and stubborn and can grind things to a halt. They can also be extreeeemly lazy and habit bound.

Taurus are very practical and reliable.  They are happy to plod along, as they reach their goal. They are also extremely patient and dependable. Bulls want to get the job done, and they will.  Taurus far prefers to take each day slowly and steadily and work toward their ultimate goal.

Taurus is ruled by the Planet Venus, the Goddess of Love, Beauty and Pleasure. To others they may appear very materialistic, and they are…but they have to have beauty in their lives. Very important to them is a happy home and a stable relationship. They are true romantics and loyal to the core. They can be very possessive.

The Element associated with Taurus is Earth. No pie-in-the-sky for them. They like to keep their feet on the ground.

Taurus rules the neck and throat. It would be wise to keep a silky scarf at hand, ideally in a warm (and soothing) earth tone.
